Olamide Defends Wizkid For Excessive Collabo Charges

Wizkid is currently the main topic of discussion when it comes to Nigerian music for now, with topics ranging from ish with Samklef and now excessive charges for collaborations in songs. Female singer Saeon in a recent instagram post allege that Wizkid was paid #1.5 million to feature on her song ‘Boogie down’ and he couldn’t even acknowledge her with a retweet about the song when it was released.

With the news now going viral, fans have been asking other artistes who have featured Wizkid on songs, asking them how much they paid Wizkid probably in order to know where to place the blame.

A few hours, a fan tweeted at Olamide asking the Bariga born rapper who raps in Yoruba language, him how much he paid Wizkid to feature on his 2011 hit single, ‘Omo to shan.’
In a manner reflecting maturity but which might not be the actual truth, Olamide replied saying: ‘He did it for free .. Let my nigga be great.’
