WICKED ACT: Woman Places Red-Hot Knife On 9-Year-Old Niece’s Private Part

 

An Upper Area Court sitting in Zuba, Abuja, on Friday remanded a woman, Anso Comfort, in prison for assaulting her nine-year-old neice with a red-hot knife in her private part.

Comfort, 32, a fashion designer, who resides in Dutse Makaranta, is facing a charge of cruelty to children and causing grievous hurt.

Comfort has already pleaded guilty to the charges. The prosecution told the court that the accused had on Oct. 27 placed a hot knife on the private part of the minor for coming home late. Continue reading......


A kitchen knife heated on a stove was placed on the private part of the nine-year-old niece by Comfort, who is living with her.

She assaulted her for allegedly coming back to the house late at night, the prosecutor, Cpl. Kelechi Echendu, said.

He said the offences contravened the provisions of Sections 238 and 247 of the Penal Code.
The judge, Mr Aminu Sa’ad, ordered that the accused should be remanded in prison custody and reserved judgment for Nov.12. (NAN)
