As seen in the photo above is a man Pa Taiwo Akinwunmi whom many Nigerians do not even know but he had a huge role to play in today's Nigeria as he designed the National Flag.

President Jonathan has really did the right thing by Honoring him with a life time award as he was decorated as an Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic, OFR on the 29th and that makes it 55 years after designing the prestigious flag. 

He wasn't only given an award, president Jonathan also said he will be placed on a lifetime salary that must be in line with what any Senior Special Advisers earns. 

 
This is seen as a very bold and nice step by the President as no other government has seen it fit to even honor him...
