Goals from George Boyd and Ashley Barnes capped an excellent second-half
revival as Sean Dyche's strugglers fought back from a two-goal deficit
to draw at the Etihad Stadium
Manchester City will be desperately disappointed this evening after
letting a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 at home with Burnley. It means
City remain three points adrift of Premier league leaders Chelsea who
also dropped points away at Southampton.
David Silva and Fernandinho gave them a commanding first-half lead, but Burnley, who were excellent throughout, left with a well-deserved point after goals from George Boyd and Ashley Barnes. The movement of Boyd and Danny Ings caused City all sorts of problems, but the home side will see this as two vital points dropped.
